Klause writes teen alienation extremely well, and also tends to show pronounced sympathy with the monsters while keeping keenly conscious of the awareness that they are monsters; The Silver Kiss is no different here. I’m usually nice, but this book. I sure know how to pick them! This is what Twilight wanted to be, I think. OK amnette thing this book has 4 stars from me not because it’s the best or because at the moment it was good.
The ambiance was great, it felt dark and lovely and I loved the character development for Simon, but overall it was kind of boring? By doing this, it really does succeed in being a memorable, poignant tale.

I’ll probably never read this one again, but it’s cover is nice so I’ll keep my edition Sometimes they withdrew into themselves, and sometimes they reached out after needing no one.
