Apparently they guard the royal family because the royals’ blood has magic in it or something. I was intrigued by a fairy falling in love with a prince, it mix a couple of my favorite things together: Project MUSE Mission Project MUSE promotes the creation and dissemination of essential humanities and social science resources through collaboration with libraries, publishers, and scholars worldwide. Having had a healthy dose of Celtic lore thanks in large part to my Celtic father, the author clearly did her research and left no stone unturned when it came to Celtic myth and legend.

I think I suspected just about everyone except who it actually was. I wanted to like All That Glows, I thought the concept could be interesting. He has been killed by a malevolent, evil force bent on destroying the world. It breaks away pieces of me.

Not someone you’d love to be with in my opinion. That definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. Emrys is supposed to be bad-ass Fae Bodyguard, bestowed with the powers of gloww Faery Court, designated to protect the future Heir to the Throne of England. Other books in the series.

May 08, Alyssa rated it really liked it Shelves: I still think that there were wayyy too many comparisons going on, tgat it didn’t bother me after a while.

Action scenes are good but I feel like it’s just there for the sake of having it. It was a mix of modern life and faerie magic and it was blended perfectly. In the middle of the story, the plot start to fasten and that’s when all the action starts. What the fuck kind of a bodyguard is that?

See the forbidden touch here? Also posted at The Midnight Garden Making the cast of characters you might think you know but giving All That Glows is dyan fast paced, action packed fantasy with an endearing romance and an epic battle that can’t be missed.

Is this quote near the end of the book?

Emrys gets her way, Richard gets his way, Herne gets his way, Mab gets what she was looking for, so does Titania, the royal family is safe, blah blah blah. I love the relationship between Emrys and Richard even though at first people thought Richard was a little crazy speaking to an invisible person.

Emrys is supposed to be this elder Fae who lived through centuries and supposed to be one of the most powerful Guards. You think my metaphors are bad? Emyrs just makes a lot of short and declarative statements and reading it is just odd. The typography is stunning. Gllows feel like the design team outdid themselves with this cover!
